Which include converting fat and to energy and eliminating toxins that are poisonous to the body. Water helps with this process significantly, by aiding the liver and kidney do their job in a more efficient manner.

I'm sure you've heard the saying they should drink eight glasses of water a day. It's true, eight 8-ounce glass of water is what the average person needs everyday to maintain basic bodily functions and help to lose weight. We you may not have heard, is that anyone carrying an extra 25 pounds, should add one glass of water.

Try spread out your water consumption over the day. It's better to sip your glass of water over time, than to gulp the entire thing in one big chug. Try to remember, that your water intake doesn't have to just come from a glass of water. Orange juice, apple juice, grape juice, and other healthy juices also contain a significant amount of water. Remember, of course, other beverages can have the opposite effect. Anything with caffeine, like coffee or various soda drinks will actually dehydrate the body. Beer, wine, and other alcohol also fall into this category. You have to adjust your water intake accordingly depending on the amount of these other drinks you ingest.

In summary, water has to be one of the easiest ways you'll find to lose weight. Simply try it for a week, incorporating 8 glasses into your daily life. I'm sure you'll see quite a difference. I know I have.
